Deilelater cf. atlanticus Pupa!

I feel like my life right now is just roaches and Pyrophorini LOL, and lately it's been one Pyrophorini update after another! 😆 One of my Deilelater cf. atlanticus larvae has pupated, which is quite awesome, as it'll be the first F1 adult for this species! 😁

Unfortunately though, it pupated at a relatively small size, and the rest of the 8 larvae are showing no signs of getting ready to pupate. Hopefully this won't be a problem and the rest are indeed close to maturity, but worst case if something weird happens and they all start pupating at really staggered rates, I might just heat them up all at once to induce premature pupation, ensuring I have breeding pairs.

Anyways, here are some pics of the pupa:

Glowing boi...

I just love that Pyrophorini pupae glow lol! 😄 Fingers crossed I'll be able to captive breed this species with ease, I can't wait to see adults in person!

Anyways, that's gonna do it for this post, thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed, stay safe, and I'll see you all in the next post! 😉
