A Couple Rare Roach Updates

Here's a little update on my Polyphaga plancyi. So, as some of you already know, one of my three ooths hatched earlier this year, and the nymphs from said ooths are doing great, and growing well. 😁
A second ooth unfortunately molded over and seems to be completely dead inside. 😢 Bit of a bummer, but seems to be a random fluke.
The third ooth looks perfectly fine, I've had it in a cool spot for nearly a month now, and soon I'll move it into the nymphs' warm enclosure to try and trigger it to hatch (like I did with the first ooth).

Anyways, here are some pictures of one of the nymphs:

As you can see, they're starting to gain some nice patterning on them, can't wait until they get larger, such a pretty species! 😍

Next up, a little (big) update on my Macropanesthia rhinoceros... The larger of my two nymphs has molted again, and I think she may be an adult now! 😁 Or at the very least, a subadult, which honestly I kinda hope she is, because if she's mature, she's not that large of an adult. Still an absolute unit of a roach, but I think females can get a little bigger than this.

Here are some pictures of her:

So adorable! 🥰 And so hefty, she's gonna look super chonky once she's got some food in her for sure!

Anyways, that's gonna do it for this short post, thanks for reading, hope everyone enjoyed, stay safe, and I'll see you all next time! 😉
