Epilamprinae & Gromphadorhina Pictures

Got some pictures of a couple of species that have been booming for me recently, which I figured I'd share here with some small updates on them. 😊

My Epilamprinae sp. "Kota Kinabalu" have been thriving for me, and will apparently breed quite steadily at room temps (around 73F°) with no issues.
My colony has been throwing out the occasional greyish females, something my friend Brandon Maines has not noticed in his colony. Not sure if that's because he's got older stock from a different import than mine, OR if he's merely accidentally line bred his colony to only produce the orange-ish adults (or bought them from someone who did).

Here are some pictures of a few of my adults, including a greyish female:

A very nice species, that honestly has decent feeder potential IMO with how freakin' fast they breed. 😄

Speaking of pretty roaches with feeder potential,  Gromphadorhina portentosa "LLE Mahogany" breed at the same rate as "portentosa" mutts commonly used for feeders... 😅 However they have the added advantage of being pure, and prettier than most hybrid hissers, would really love to see people phase out their hybrid feeder colonies in favor of these.

Here are some pictures of a few adults:

Beautiful strain, hoping to see them more widespread in culture soon! 😁

Well, that does it for this post, thanks for reading, hope everyone enjoyed, stay safe, and I'll see you all next time! 😉
