Pseudomops septentrionalis and Stenopelmatus Update.

Well, after a few escapees and some random deaths, I have 3 Pale bordered field roaches left, all of which have matured. At least one of them is a female, and she has been laying ootheca, so hopefully in a few months I will have babies running around in the enclosure!

This has proven to be one of the hardest species of cockroach that I have kept, but it seems like I am on the path to success!

Here are some pictures of one of the adults, it matured this week:

I really hope this species stays in my collection, it is one of the most pretty roaches I have.

My Jerusalem crickets have been doing very well, no deaths as of yet and all of them seem healthy as can be!

Recently one of my Byrsotria sp. "Cuba" had a very bad molt, and got stuck in it's skin. I fed it to my biggest JC, Ripper, and boy she hollowed that roach out! She was so FAT after eating it, and has not eaten much since then, due to being stuffed with roach guts!

Here are some pictures of her a few days after eating:

Look at that abdomen!
Hopefully my Jerusalem crickets continue to do well, so I can try to breed them!

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I will see you all next time! :)
